Cancellation & Refund Policy

No contract, cancel anytime, online. Here's exactly how it works and what happens next.

Last updated October 6, 2026

Summary: your plan is a monthly subscription that renews automatically each month at your plan's monthly price until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time, without calling us. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing month you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

1. How to cancel

You can cancel anytime, for any reason, in either of these ways:

  • Online, in your customer portal: go to billing.stripe.com/p/login/7sYeV76Et2aK1rReX99Ve00 (also linked as Manage my plan at the bottom of every page on our website), enter the email address on your account, open the login link we send you, choose Cancel plan and confirm. This takes about a minute.
  • By email: send a cancellation request from the email address on your account to support@rockmywebsites.com. A request is effective on the day we receive it, even if we confirm it later.

We'll email you a confirmation of your cancellation, including the date your service ends, within 1 business day.

2. When cancellation takes effect

Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You won't be charged again after you cancel, and your website and Services continue until the end of the period you've paid for.

3. Refunds

  • Because your plan runs through the end of each paid month, monthly payments aren't refunded for partial months, except where required by law.
  • Billing errors: if we charge you incorrectly, including any charge after your cancellation took effect, tell us within 60 days and we'll refund it in full.
  • If we end your service without cause, we'll refund the unused part of your current billing period.
  • There is no setup fee and no cancellation fee.
  • Refunds are returned to your original payment method, generally within 5–10 business days after we process them.

4. Changing plans instead

If you'd rather keep your website at a lower cost, you can downgrade instead of cancelling. The change takes effect at the start of your next billing period.

5. Your domain

Your domain is registered in your name, so it stays yours after you cancel. If you'd like, we'll help you point it to a new website or host. Remember to keep your domain renewed with your registrar.

6. Your website after you cancel

  • After 12 consecutive months of paid service, you can request a copy of your website files at no charge, and we'll transfer them to you.
  • Before 12 months, you can keep your website files by paying a one-time buyout fee of $499, payable before transfer.
  • To request your files, email us before your service ends or within the 30-day backup period below.
  • Third-party software, fonts and stock images remain subject to their own licenses (see our Terms of Service).
  • Your own content (logo, photos and text you provided) is always yours, and we'll return it on request at no charge.

7. After your service ends

  • We take your website offline at the end of your final billing period.
  • We keep a backup for 30 days in case you change your mind or want your files. After that, we delete your website files and backups, except billing records we're required to keep.
  • If you restart your plan within those 30 days, we'll restore your website from the backup.

8. Failed payments

If a payment fails, we'll let you know so you can update your card in your customer portal. If the balance is still unpaid 14 days after it's due, we may pause your website until it's paid. Pausing for non-payment isn't a cancellation. If you want to stop service, please cancel as described above.
